Small Hall layout diagrams and capacity information

This page provides information on the capacity of the Community Centre's Small Hall when used for various purposes and with different layouts; a written description of the hall can be found on the facilities page (in the East Wing section). You can click on the drawings to see high resolution versions with additional notes.

Cabaret seating

For smaller celebrations and parties, 50 people can easily be seated in the Small Hall using our circular tables, provided that they are not in use in the Main Hall, where they are normally kept.

Traditional banqueting

If you prefer a banquet layout, then the Small Hall can accommodate 46 people, as illustrated below.

Dancing

The layout below provides space for up to 80 people dancing, with seating for 30.

Theatre layout

Using a theatre layout, up to 106 people can be seated in the Small Hall. Note that a total of 220 seats are available for the two halls, so in some circumstances it may be necessary to hire in chairs from outside.

The Small Hall has a capacity of 35 people in a classroom layout.

U-shaped layout

With a U-shaped layout 24 delegates can be seated in the Small Hall.
